Gunpowder was invented by alchemists of ancient China in the IX century. In principle it was obtained by mixing sulfur, charcoal and saltpeter (potassium nitrate). The coal was obtained from the willows, although plants such as the vine, hazelnut, laurel and elderberry, among others, were also used.

In the XI century B.C. umbrellas was made of wood, bamboo and paper. They used umbrellas as a strength for any each weather changing.
